Academic Background

I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in the paleobiology group in the Geosciences Department at Virginia Tech with Dr. Sterling Nesbitt. My research focuses on modeling Late Triassic vertebrate community dynamics through time and environmental change. Through my research, I aim to contribute to a big picture understanding of how ecosystems evolve and how this may inform our understanding of modern vertebrate communities.
